Reading Connection

In Reading Intervention classes, students learn a variety of reading strategies to enhance their reading ability across multiple genres and in content area subjects.

The Reading Intervention setting is meant to support students in their reading growth and homework is rarely given.  However, students are expected to read for 20-30 minutes every evening.  Students should access Raz Kids daily, practice sight words, and practice fluency using the fluency packets that are sent home regularly.  In addition, students should complete and study the weekly Fundations packet that is sent home.
